Frogs….

We have one that has managed to survive. Bayd says that there has already been a dead frog on the neighbours lawn, so that means Kruger & Lecter are at work again! Those cats are appropriately named! I am amazed they can find them to catch them as it is a bit like “Where is Waldo?” trying to spot the frog in his patch!

Bikers

We hit the trails again yesterday morning with one of Cam’s school friends.

The kids are getting good use out of their hydra-packs from Nana B …. Rob is looking for a new bike for Cam…… He is probably going to need the next size up before long. His friend Ben has a 24″ bike that Cam can ride. L & D are not going to be on their little bikes for long either………L is already sticking his knees out sideways – time to raise the seat. They grow so fast!!!!!

Scooter Wars

L & D spent some of their Christmas money on a scooter each.

We have been up to the school twice for them to race around with Cam. Which has been a lot of fun for all & very successful.


BUT out on the footpath was not so successful!!!!

Praying Mantis Visitor

Mum had to go & rescue Cam from the man eating Praying Mantis. L was happy handling it, until it tried to give him a kiss………………..
D wanted to keep it forever…….
But we set her free in the lemon tree…………..

Roller Coaster

It only took about 6 hours to assemble….. with a few undo’s along the way……. Discovered parts of it were on wrong when we tried to put the tracks on But got there in the end & IT WORKS!!!!!

And its taller than Cam complete…………………………

Last swimming lesson…..

of the term was tonight. All of the kids have come a long way in one term. And they are going up a level next term. L & D are swimming on their backs:

Cam is mastering backstroke, although the difference between swimming & not, is only half a stroke:

And this looked like a lot of fun…………

Mountain Biking

This morning Rob managed to get all of us (Mum included!!!) down to the Mountain bike track. L & D do really well considering that each tree root must seem like a boulder when their little bike wheels hit them! Cam did really well & Rob & I both think he would do really well doing the summer series bike ride that the Hamilton Mountain Bike Club run at the track.

Boys Toys……

In the last couple of weeks, Rob seems to have started to reclaim the garage as the Man’s domain. No longer is it a place for parking my car… No.. Apparently that is what the drive way is for!!!!!

No.. the garage is Man’s Place “UH UH UH” – or what ever Tim the tool man does! And THIS

is what belong’s in a shed……. (apparently it only does about 40kmph in IDLE!!!!!)

And This…….. (Much more my speed!)

I suspect he would rather have this….

Well if not the cart then definitely the Shed it belonged in!!!

Summer is here……..

After nearly 5 years of faithful service, the wonderful pool supplied by GUB has had to be retired – umpteen million holes in its bottom
So we splurged on a new one…….

The kids think it is great as it has soft sides that make it much easier for diving over……

The only problem is that we end up with just as much GRASS as WATER in it as the kids run from the other side of the section to make sure they have enough momentum!

But better that than from inside!
ROLL ON SUMMER!!!!!
